As a general rule of thumb, you should inspect your flyscreens annually and replace them if you notice wear and tear. Also, if you notice white dots on your aluminum flyscreen mesh this means the mesh is eroding and should be replaced.
Both aluminium and fibreglass mesh have their advantages and disadvantages. Fibreglass mesh offers outstanding lifespan unlike the aluminium which will erode over time, which is why we offer a stainless steel option which is much stronger and durable in comparison to aluminium. Ultimately, there isn’t a ‘better’ option, it is very situational and depends on location as to what type of mesh to choose.
Yes, we offer onsite flyscreen mesh replacements as well as offsite, we can take the flyscreens from the clients property, replace them with the desired mesh and reinstall them. Alternatively, they may be dropped at our workshop for repair.
